Truck canopy

A truck canopy is the ideal way to keep the contents of your truck bed safe and secure. Sometimes called bed “toppers”, these can be purchased for just about any pick-up truck ever made. Many truck dealerships offer these as possible options when buying a new truck.

The most commonly used material for making a truck canopy is fiberglass. This material is lightweight, waterproof and can be molded to nearly any shape imaginable. Because these canopies are meant to be taken off when required, a lightweight design is essential.

A truck canopy is sometimes designed with tool boxes that are accessible from the sides. This makes it much easier to get to the most commonly used items in your truck without having to climb in and out of the bed. Some are also designed with a third brake light as well.
